The School District of Beloit is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Paraprofessional - English Language Learner (ELL) to provide instructional and classroom support to ELL students. This role will assist teachers in delivering language development services and ensure students receive the necessary support to achieve academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide instructional assistance to ELL students under the supervision of a certified teacher.
  • Support students in developing English language skills in speaking, reading, writing, and comprehension.
  • Assist in modifying classroom materials and activities to support language development.
  • Work one-on-one or in small groups with students to reinforce lessons and concepts.
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the teacher and support staff.
  • Facilitate communication between students, teachers, and parents as needed.
  • Support student participation in classroom activities and transitions.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all student-related matters.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by administration.
