Requirements / Qualifications
Interested applicants must submit the following by the final filing date in order to be considered: Completed EdJoin Application Letter of Interest
Minimum Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or the equivalent; community college and/or vocational training certificate preferred. NCLB compliance via two years of study (48 semester units) at an accredited institution of higher education, an Associate's (or higher) degree, or a formal District assessment of knowledge and ability to assist in instructing reading, writing, and mathematics. Experience working with elementary school students in a educational setting preferred. Experience in tutoring, literacy development, or math instruction preferred. As part of your hiring process, you are required to complete a physical abilities test to assure that you have the required physical abilities to perform the required job functions. Your offer of employment is conditional on your measured abilities to meet or exceed all of the established physical testing standards Must provide a clear TB Test and be willing to obtain First Aid and CPR cards
