POSITION: Paraprofessional START DATE: AUGUST 2025 A paraprofessional will be asked to perform a variety of instructional activities and will need to assist in the conduct of intensified learning experiences. Additionally, this position will be asked to perform routine clerical and supportive tasks for teachers/staff. This position requires working in the Kindergarten through 12th grade classrooms and possibly moving throughout the building. Additionally, the person in this position should be comfortable with technology and basic technology problem solving. DUTIES: * Assisting teachers with classroom management and organization. * Supporting students with their academic tasks and activities. * Supervising students during class instruction and other unstructured times. * Preparing classroom materials and instructional resources. * Monitoring student behavior and ensuring a safe environment. REQUIREMENTS: * High School Diploma * Criminal Background Check required for hire * Clean driving record PREFERRED SKILLS: * Equivalent of 48 credit hours from an accredited college/university, an Associate's Degree from an accredited college/university, or proof of proficiency by passing a District accepted test. * One year of paid or volunteer experience working with groups of children.
