Our clients are seeking Paraprofessionals and School-Based PCA's to work in their schools in Norristown, PA

**1099 Contract - Full Time - Weekly Pay**

Our Client's Description of this Opportunity

Our clients are seeking compassionate and dedicated paraprofessionals and school-based PCA's to provide essential support to students. This role is crucial in enhancing the quality of education for students, particularly those with developmental or behavioral disabilities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality care and support.

Client's Summary of Responsibilities

• Provide direct one-on-one support to assigned student(s) during the school day.
• Assist with academic tasks, including note-taking, reading, and classroom participation.
• Support daily living activities such as toileting, feeding, and mobility assistance, as needed.
• Monitor and encourage positive behaviors and social interactions.
• Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) under the guidance of teachers and special education staff.
• Communicate regularly with teachers, therapists, and parents/guardians about student progress and needs.
• Maintain a safe and inclusive environment that promotes learning and well-being.

Client's Required Skills & Experience

• High school diploma or GED required
• Prior experience working with children or individuals with special needs is highly desirable.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hiring).
