Dennett Elementary School in Plympton, MA is seeking a full-time long-term substitute paraprofessional whose primary role is to support students with disabilities.
The assignment of this role will be dependent on the needs of students in the building and will report to the building principal. Start date is ASAP and we anticipate this role to last through April 2026.
Responsibilities include:
• Supporting students in general education classes and/or substantially separate classrooms • Providing accommodations to students on Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and Section 504 Plans • Collaborating with regular education and Special Education teachers and other staff members • Other duties to be assigned by building administration
An ideal candidate should be able to communicate well verbally and in writing. They will collaborate with other staff members and be willing to take professional development offered by the district.
Hours are 8:00 - 3:00 Monday to Friday. This is a full-time position and is not benefits eligible due to the length of the assignment.
Salary is $17.94 per hour.
