Paraprofessional

The Delran Township School District is accepting applications for (2) Paraprofessionals. Qualified candidates should have:

• Ability to pass Criminal History Review required
• Experience working with Special Education Students preferred

Responsibilities for the Paraprofessionals include:

• Keeping students on task and reinforcing appropriate behaviors
• Assisting the teacher when prompted and reviewing and reinforcing skills in the classroom (both in small groups and one-on-one)
• Collecting data on academics and behaviors
• Listening and reading to students, assisting with unstructured activities (lunchroom, physical education class, electives, etc.), acting as a 1 to 1 aide and other duties as assigned by administration.

The salary offered is based on education and experience and per the negotiated agreement between the Delran Township Board of Education and the Delran Township Education Association. Salary step guide ranges from $23090.00 to $28990.00
