The School District of Howards Grove is looking to hire a Paraprofessional for the 2026-2027 School Year. The position may involve working with students to allow the classroom teacher the ability to meet with other groups of students; collaborating with classroom teachers; facilitating learning activities; working with multiple students needs across grade levels with a variety of teachers, and direct student activities in one-on-one and small group settings. This position will work Monday through Friday, when school is in session. Applicants must possess excellent work habits, such as an excellent attendance record, ability to work in a team, and the ability to work effectively with students. The candidate must demonstrate a strong ability to implement consistency, routine, consequences, and rewards for students as directed by the teacher. Displaying professionalism and maintaining student confidentiality at all times is required.
This is a full-time, school year position working Monday through Friday, when school is in session.
