The School District of Howards Grove is looking to hire a Paraprofessional at the middle school for the 2026-2027 school year. This position may involve working with students to allow the classroom teacher the ability to meet with other groups of students; collaborating with classroom teachers; facilitating learning activities for student(s); working with multiple students with various needs across grade levels in multiple classrooms with a variety of teachers and direct student activities in one-to-one and small group settings. This is a part-time school year position working approximately 29.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, when school is in session.

Applicants must possess excellent work habits, such as an excellent attendance record, strong personal skills, ability to work in a team, and the ability to work effectively with students. Candidate must demonstrate a strong ability to implement consistency, routine, consequences, and rewards for students as directed by the teacher. Displaying professionalism and maintaining student confidentiality at all times is required.

Applicants must be able to use a computer to retrieve email messages and instructions; and also to enter, record, and submit timesheet. Acceptable Background Check required.
