Lamphere Schools is contracting the services of Edustaff for Long Term Paraprofessional staff.

Position: Substitute Physical Education Instructional Paraprofessional - 5 weeks (Edustaff)

Start Date: August 31, 2026 - End Date: October 2, 2026

Location: Page Middle School

Pay Rate: $15.25/hour

Position Summary: The substitute instructional paraprofessional will provide academic and social support to students in grades 6-8 during Physical Education classes.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma
• Experience working with middle school aged students, preferred
• Ability to lead small group instruction with support from classroom teachers
• Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with staff and students
• Good health and stamina for assigned duties
• Ability to be flexible and adapt to working with students of different ages,skill levels and temperaments
• Ability to withstand the strain of the position
• Must be reliable and punctual with excellent work-related attendance record
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the administration may find appropriate

Responsibilities:

• Support teacher with the academic and social emotional needs of students
• Provide small group/whole group support and/or supervision at stations during core academic learning time
• Offer brain breaks/movement breaks or relaxation room breaks to students who need positive reinforcement or are overstimulated in the gymnasium
• Assist students if/when they have extreme behavioral outbursts so that teaching can continue to be the focus in the gym
• Provide consistent support at lunch and during breaks in order to help students navigate this unstructured time of day
• Work collaboratively with teachers and other staff
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance
• Other responsibilities as determined by the administrator

Employment is contingent upon disclosure in accordance with PA-189.

Ability to withstand the strains and successfully manage the responsibilities of the position.

Must demonstrate reliability and punctuality, with a strong record of consistent attendance. Regular and dependable presence during school hours is essential.
