EDU-AIDs is seeking a motivated Paraprofessional / Instructional Aide to support students in a school setting in Basking Ridge, New Jersey.


This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children, helping students learn, and making a positive difference in the classroom. Candidates with experience in schools, childcare, tutoring, youth programs, or special education are encouraged to apply.


What You'll Do

• Assist the classroom teacher with daily lessons, classroom activities, and instructional materials.
• Work one-on-one or with small groups of students to reinforce learning and help them complete assignments.
• Support students with classroom routines, transitions, and participation in learning activities.
• Help maintain a positive, safe, and organized classroom environment.
• Encourage positive behavior, student engagement, and independence.
• Work collaboratively with teachers and school staff to support students' academic and developmental needs.
• Follow classroom instructions, school policies, and student support plans.

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or more, as required for the assignment.
• A genuine interest in working with children and supporting their learning.
• Strong communication, patience, reliability, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to follow teacher instructions and work effectively in a classroom setting.
• Previous experience in education, childcare, tutoring, or special education is a plus, but not mandatory.
