Position Summary: The above Paraprofessionals contractual positions are available for the 2026-2027 school year.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of Associates Degree; or have successfully passed the ParaPro Assessment
  • Demonstrated proficiency in oral and written communication and ability to assist with instructional activities
  • Experience with students with special needs preferred
  • Bilingual preferred
  • Clerical aptitude and knowledge of information technology
  • Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: See attached Job Description

Technology Skills: Ability to be proficient in computer applications pertinent to support the position, including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, Google Suite, Frontline Applications, and Student Information System.

Evaluation of Performance: Performance of this position will be evaluated annually in accordance with the New Jersey Administrative Code and Board of Education policy.

Terms of Employment: 10 Month Contract. Salary and benefits as determined by the Board of Education and any applicable and collective negotiations agreement. See above for specific salary information.
