Job Description
- Conduct Parent Education Classes. Spanish Speaking Required
- Provide department secretary with available dates to teach classes.
- Reflect pertinent and appropriate review of current literature during Lectures/Discussions. Follow curriculum and be organized.
- When presenting a Lecture, be articulate and have a clear, understandable voice.
- Involve participants in program; e.g., questioning of their experience relevant to content examples.
- Acknowledge participant contributions and responds appropriately to questions.
- Utilize adult learning/age-related/developmental teaching learning principles and incorporate cultural difference into presentation when appropriate.
- Collaborate with Program Coordinator to revise, update and improve ongoing programs.
- Encourage class participants to complete on- line class evaluation form.
- Maintain a current childbirth education certification.
