M Group Highways are currently looking to recruit Parish Stewards to work on our Wiltshire contract in Wilton, Salisbury, reporting into a Supervisor.

What will you be doing?
As a Parish Steward you will be part of our Highways operational delivery team who are responsible for maintaining the highway network in Wiltshire.
We''ll ask you to work safely and be responsible for personal safety and that of others who come into contact with our works.
You''ll carry out all required checks of plant, equipment and vehicles including completion of associated reports.
Liaise with the Divisional Highways Office, Parish and Town Councils to identify and agree works programmes.
Part of the role will be to undertake identified works including maintenance to highway drainage features, signs and street furniture, carriageway and footway defects. Clearing of any highway obstructions.
You''ll identify and where possible, repair minor defects. Noting and reporting more major defects and problems, both on and adjacent to the highway.
We''ll ask you for daily record sheets, and accurate recording of information in HIAMS via use of tablet device.
You''ll be asked to respond to out of office hours emergencies in accordance with roster and within required timescales, and participate in Winter Service and OOH operations.
