Position Overview

The Parking Lot Attendant plays an important role in creating a positive first impression for guests as they arrive at Mt. Hood Meadows. This position welcomes guests, provides helpful information, and safely directs vehicles into appropriate parking spaces while helping ensure a smooth and organized arrival experience. Parking Lot Attendants are an important part of the Meadows team and have frequent opportunities to assist guests throughout their visit.

Working as part of the Parking team, this position helps manage traffic flow, prepare and maintain parking areas, and communicate current resort and parking information to guests. The ideal candidate is friendly, approachable, and comfortable interacting with a wide variety of guests while remaining attentive and professional in a busy environment.

This is an active, outdoor position that offers the opportunity to spend the winter season welcoming guests and being part of the energy of the resort. Parking Lot Attendants should enjoy working as part of a team, communicating with guests, and staying engaged in a fast-paced environment while working in winter weather conditions.

This is a full or part-time, seasonal position

Qualifications and Experience

• Must be 16 years of age or older
• Comfortable interacting with the public using verbal communication skills
• Ability to stand and work outdoors in a variety of extreme winter weather conditions
• Able to work effectively in a team environment
• Must be comfortable with the changing dynamic of a seasonal business
• Commit to work weekends and holidays during the ski and snowboard season

Compensation:

• Wage: $20.00 - $21.82 Hourly
