Position Overview
We are hiring dependable team members for a recurring weekend-morning parking assignment.
The primary responsibility for this assignment is directing arriving vehicles, guiding guests to designated parking areas, and helping maintain a safe and organized traffic flow. This is not primarily a vehicle-parking shift; however, employees will also be trained and eligible to work additional valet shifts with our team at weddings, private events, restaurants, and other venues.
This position is ideal for someone seeking consistent part-time weekend work with opportunities to pick up additional shifts.
Responsibilities
- Direct arriving and departing vehicles safely and professionally.
- Guide guests toward designated parking areas.
- Maintain an organized and efficient flow of traffic.
- Greet guests with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Communicate clearly with supervisors and other team members.
- Assist with cones, signs, and other parking equipment.
- Work additional valet shifts based on availability.
- Safely park and retrieve guest vehicles when assigned to valet events.
- Maintain a polished appearance and uphold company service standards.
Qualifications
- Consistent availability on weekend mornings.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
- Reliable personal transportation to the Malibu area.
- Dependable, punctual, and comfortable working independently or as part of a team.
- Friendly and professional communication skills.
- Ability to stand and work outdoors for approximately three hours.
- Ability to follow traffic and safety procedures.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Previous valet, parking, hospitality, security, or customer-service experience is preferred but not required.
- Manual-transmission experience is a plus but not required.
