Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor s Degree. A minimum of two years of progressively responsible experience in the coordination, administration or operational management of special events, public events, production services, recreational programming, venue operations, or a related field is required. Additional experience in the coordination, administration or operational management of special events, public events, production services, recreational programming, venue operations, or a related field may substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis. Must possess a valid Florida Driver s License. Must be able to work days, nights, weekends and holidays on a varying schedule.

The PROS Special Events Administrator for Special Events & Production Services will play a key role in supporting the planning and successful execution of PROS Department special events, festivals, community programs, ceremonial activities, and facility rentals. Key responsibilities include coordinating event applications, permits, contracts, invoices, schedules, and operational logistics; maintaining accurate administrative and fiscal records; supporting procurement and vendor coordination; and assisting with departmental signature events and fundraising initiatives. The position's responsibilities also include coordination with park staff, vendors, community organizations, county officials, and external agencies to ensure events are properly planned, documented, compliant, and operationally successful.
