Performs manual labor on County Parks and Recreation areas; maintenance and repair of facilities and construction of new facilities; maintains and uses of park areas.SUPERVISION RECEIVED:Works under the direct supervision Trails/Canyons Supervisor and LeadSUPERVISION EXERCISED:NoneDUTIES:Assists trails supervisor and lead worker in coordinating and monitoring parks and trails priorities, services and projects. Will perform a number of entry level carpentry, masonry and construction to maintain and up grad parks and trails facilities.Will paint equipment and structures used by the public, collect and clean up refuse left behind by park patrons and perform other tasks associated with park operations.Maintains the natural environmental aesthetics of the parks and trails areas, reports vandalism and corrects the problem.Assists in a variety of seasonal duties such as winterizing various restroom facilities, sprinkler and water systems, flushes and maintains water systems in the spring and summer months.
