Job Description:
Job Summary: The Parkway Service Manager I is responsible for maintaining service operations and ensuring consistent and excellent customer service standards. Additionally, they are accountable for high quality service operations at competitive costs to the customers while maintaining sufficient profit margins and the Parkway Systems brand.
Key Responsibilities & Essential Functions:
Provides Partners technical training, coaching, certification and developmental opportunities
Provides daily supervision and support for an assigned group of hourly Partners. Maintains an environment within the facility where Partners trust and respect their Leader and work together as a team to accomplish goals and objectives.
Provides performance feedback to Partners through fair and consistent application of policies and procedures
Supports a Positive Partner Relations environment by assisting Partners resolve their concerns
Ensures Partner compliance with facility & process safety requirements
Initiates job requisition, sources and interviews candidates
Reviews and assigns work as needed
Assists in establishing and monitoring work standards
Creates and executes the Partner's work schedule to ensure product meets customer demand in an effective and efficient manner
Notifies Partners of daily shift operational goals and gains their commitment
Stays abreast of the movement of equipment & product & makes adjustments to achieve targeted delivery and or equipment slotting schedules
Responds to customer inquiries through research and makes necessary corrections
Builds relationships and works closely with customers, Partners and Leaders
Monitors productivity and throughput against goals and takes appropriate action to meet goals
Reviews daily work volume and balances staffing levels and overtime as necessary
Tracks damage to equipment and facility and takes appropriate action to control costs
Maintains a clean, safe, well organized, and pest free facility
Identifies, addresses, and resolves sanitation, maintenance and safety issues
Ensures that all assets and equipment are maintained in a clean and operational condition
Majority of the time spent using independent judgment in making employment-related business decisions, or effectively recommend such decisions including but not limited to product and department related strategies, hiring, promoting, disciplining, suspending, discharging, rewarding or otherwise engaged in resolving Partner-related matters.

Qualifications & Key Requirements:
Work Experience:
5+ years Related industry experience - Required
Experience in process improvement initiatives using Business Excellence - Required
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Demonstrated proficiency with operating internal and external software systems at an advanced level not limited to: creating spreadsheets, graphs and charts and preparing presentations - Required
Possesses personal leadership skills - Required
Strong multi-tasking and attention to detail skills required - Required
Strong written and verbal communication skills; demonstrated experience with presentations to superiors, peers and subordinates - Required
Strong analytical & influencing skills - Required
Strong negotiation and influencing skills - Required
Knowledge of financial reports respective to one functional area - Required
Strong knowledge and compliance in related areas: industry, OSHA, advanced DOT, EEOC, EPA and state Employment Laws - Required
Strong knowledge of HEB Guideline and Procedures - Required
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree - Preferred
Licenses/Certifications:
Physical Demands & Working Conditions:
Function in a fast-paced, retail, shop, and office environment
Travel by car or airplane with overnight stays
Sit for an extended period of time
Lift 20 lbs. or more on an occasional basis
Must be able to work sitting, standing, stooping, bending,
Work flexible and/or rotating schedules, including overnights, weekends, and holidays
