Part Mark Machine Operator

Description:

Summary

The worker will be responsible for operating an inkjet printer/part marking machine and packaging plastic manufactured parts in preparation for shipment while following established quality standards and customer requirements.. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Operate a stand-up inkjet printer/part marking machine.
2. Maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality.
3. Inspect parts for quality and ensure they meet customer requirements.
4. Wrap and package parts in preparation for shipping.
5. Participate in inventory counts as needed.
6. Use a computer to locate, enter, and update information.
7. Operate a forklift and/or pallet jack to safely move parts and materials.
8. Communicate in a professional, respectful, and courteous manner with all employees, clients, management, and others with whom we may work.
9. Contribute to a successful work group and foster a team-oriented culture through positive interactions, active listening, meaningful collaboration, employee engagement, and the constructive exchange of ideas designed to meet or exceed the organization’s strategic goals.
10. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Qualifications

1. Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend the English language.
2. Ability to effectively and safely operate a forklift, pallet jack, computer, computer mouse, and printer.
3.  Ability to perform basic counting and math calculations.
4. Ability to read and follow drawing instructions.

Physical Work/Environment Requirements

1. Position in a warehouse environment and requires the use of various types of equipment (heavy machinery, forklifts, computers, etc.)
2. Requires light to heavy lifting
3. Requires continuous standing and walking
