We are partnering with a client in Amesbury, MA seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Accounting Admin / Accounts Payable professional to support the team during a maternity leave coverage assignment. This is a part-time opportunity with flexible scheduling, working approximately 3 days per week, with the potential to transition into a full-time role after 6 months for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and maintain vendor accounts and records
- Process accounts payable transactions including expense accruals, wire transfer reconciliations, and check issuance
- Support inventory receiving processes and related accounting entries
- Prepare audit support documentation for external auditors and parent company reviews
- Assist with additional accounting tasks and special projects as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous accounting or accounts payable experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Excel and accounting systems preferred
- Reliable and professional communication skills
