Part-Time Accounting Assistant

Are you seeking a part-time accounting opportunity in Union City? LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a client to hire a Part-Time Accounting Assistant for its corporate office in Union City, California. This fully in-office role requires a four-hour daily shift, with the possibility of additional hours during month-end close. The ideal candidate has at least two years of accounting experience and proficiency with NetSuite. Responsibilities include entering vendor bills, expenses, and other transactions into NetSuite; comparing NetSuite activity and balances with bank statements; identifying missing information and duplicate entries; supporting bank, credit card, accounts payable, prepaid expense, inventory, and other account reconciliations; and assisting with additional duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

• 2 years accounting/bookkeeping experience (AP, AR, General Accounting
• Solid knowledge of accounting knowing your debits and credits and general accounting
• Software experience with NetSuite required
• Team player, able to work independently, patient, and enthusiastic
• Reliable, a can-do positive attitude, and gets the job done
• Detailed, a problem-solver, and organized
• Strong customer service and communications both written and verbal
• Comfortable with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & Outlook)
• Associates or Bachelor's Degree would be a plus

Experience: 2 years of experience as a Bookkeeper (Bookkeeper, Accountant, Staff Accountant)

Compensation: $25 - $35
