Job DescriptionThe Accounting Coordinator position is a hybrid role that will reside at the Palm Beach Gardens, FL site. This is a Part-Time position.The role of the Accounting Coordinator is to perform a variety of routine and non-routine accounting and clerical functions in accordance with accounting policies and procedures. This role supports Pathology Finance team.Responsibilities: AdministrativePerform administrative duties for facility (pay local invoices, monitor/purchase supplies, arrange for services, maintain P-Card, etc.)Input purchase requisitions for office and offsite individualsProcess/redirect mail including account coding of miscellaneous cash receipts Work with vendors to ensure accurate billing of invoices and payment statusHandle 'live check' paperwork and submit for depositPerform additional duties and assist with other projects/department needs upon request from managementFinanceGenerate, assemble and distribute presentations/reports in both Excel and Power PointAssist with fixed assets and various capital purchase record keeping (template preparation, spend tracking, physical inventory review)Receive, research, and respond to employee inquiries regarding general ledger expenditure postingsCode invoices for processing and obtain appropriate approvals based on Authorization Matrix Assist with month end reporting packages and other pre/post close itemsAssist with daily and monthly volume reportingPreparation of Journal Entry and reconciliation of Balance Sheet accountsPerform additional duties and assist with other projects/department needs upon request from managementQualifications: Education Preferred:Academic Associates degree or equivalent college creditsWork Experience:1 to 3 years in accounting related field preferredOther: Strong computer skills including MS Excel, Word, and PowerPointStrong organizational and communication skillsKnowledge of Oracle, Essbase, Power BI a plusDemonstrated analytical abilities64750Quest Diagnostics honors our service members and encourages veterans to apply.
