Part-Time Activities Director

Activities Director (40% FTE)

The School District of Melrose-Mindoro is seeking a qualified and motivated candidate to serve as Activities Director. This position provides leadership and oversight for the district''s co-curricular and extracurricular programs, ensuring positive experiences for all participating students. The Activities Director serves as a strong advocate for our students, programs, and school community while promoting the values and mission of the Melrose-Mindoro School District.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with administration, staff, coaches, advisors, and community members to provide leadership and direction for all extracurricular programs.
• Foster positive student growth, school pride, leadership development, sportsmanship, and citizenship through student activities.
• Coordinate and oversee activities programs to ensure compliance with district policies and applicable regulations.
• Serve as a visible presence at athletic events to support students, staff, officials, and spectators.
• Act as a resource at events to ensure they are well-organized, run smoothly, and positively represent the district.
• Promote and communicate the successes and accomplishments of student activities and programs.
• Support a culture of respect, inclusion, and positive competition.

Position Information:

This position is considered a .4 FTE. Work hours and scheduling may be adjusted to meet the needs of the district and to accommodate the availability and qualifications of the selected candidate.
