Job Duties:
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Reports to Nursing Program Administrator and Assistant Nursing Program Administrator. Under the supervision of the Associate Dean of Health Sciences. • Communicate with course leaders to aid in student achievement of course competencies and outcomes related to the clinical or lab experience. • Collaborates and communicates frequently with course instructor(s), lab/clinical coordinator to ensure issues are resolved promptly and reported to the NPA and ANPA as necessary. • Enforce institutional policies, procedures, and student conduct guidelines as outlined in the nursing handbook. • As applicable to role, ensure course-related instructional materials and resources are accessible to students. • Provide timely, formative, meaningful, and constructive feedback to students. • Complete required data requests. • Reports instructional resource, supply, or equipment needs to the appropriate supervisor. • Maintain active/good standing nursing license appropriate for Kentucky. • Maintain required clinical compliance for all clinical sites. • Attends required ACTC adjunct faculty orientation, training sessions, and meetings. • Performs other duties as assigned and delegated by the NPA, ANPA and the associate dean of health sciences.
Minimum Qualifications:
-Current unencumbered license, privilege, or temporary work permit to practice as a registered nurse in Kentucky. -Minimum two (2) years full-time or equivalent experience as a registered nurse within the immediate past five (5) years and evidence of clinical competence appropriate to responsibilities. - Minimum degree requirements pursuant to KRS 314.111(6)(a) - Associate Degree Nursing – RN for clinical or lab job assignments for ADN-RN program.
