Description

We are seeking a dependable, organized, and proactive Part-Time Administrative & Operations Assistant to support day-to-day office operations and special projects. This position is ideal for a college student or recent graduate looking to gain practical business experience in a professional services environment.

The primary focus of this role is administrative and office support, including office management, executive support, event coordination, and business operations assistance. For candidates with an interest in technology, business process improvement, or automation, there are opportunities to gain exposure to Microsoft Power Platform tools, workflow automation, and operational excellence initiatives.

This role offers a unique opportunity to learn how a growing professional services organization operates while developing valuable administrative, organizational, and business skills.

The hourly pay for this position is $18.40 an hour.

Key Responsibilities

Office Management

  • Maintain a professional and organized office environment.

  • Monitor and replenish office supplies, kitchen supplies, and other consumables.

  • Coordinate food and beverage orders for meetings and office events.

  • Ensure common areas, conference rooms, and break areas remain clean and well-stocked.

  • Regularly remove expired food and assist with general office upkeep and organization.

  • Coordinate with building management and vendors as needed.

Special Event & Meeting Support

  • Coordinate catering, food orders, room setup, and event logistics.

  • Assist with preparation and organization of meeting materials.

  • Provide day-of support for special events and executive meetings.

  • Help track event-related expenses and vendor communications.

Executive Administrative Support

  • Assist with executive expense reporting and receipt management.

  • Organize and submit receipts and supporting documentation on behalf of company leadership.

  • Maintain accurate records and supporting files for expense reimbursement processes.

  • Support other administrative tasks as assigned.

Business Operations & Workflow Support

  • Assist with maintaining business process documentation and operational records.

  • Provide basic support for Microsoft Power Automate workflows and business process tools.

  • Test workflows, identify issues, and document improvement opportunities.

  • Help maintain operational trackers, reports, and dashboards.

  • Support process improvement initiatives and special operational projects.

Qualifications

Required

  • High school diploma or current enrollment in a college or university program.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative.

Preferred

  • Experience with administrative support, customer service, or office environments.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, or Power Platform tools.

  • Interest in business operations, project management, or process improvement.

  • Interest in technology, automation, or business systems.
