JOB SUMMARY
This position performs routine clerical, customer service duties including answering the telephone and directing incoming calls while providing general receptionist duties and excellent customer service for visitors to the City of Conroe's City Secretary's Office.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required. One year related clerical experience in a customer service or public contact setting.
Special Requirements:
Microsoft Office experience (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Publisher, etc.) preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The work is light and requires exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force to move objects. Additionally, the following physical abilities are required: balancing, feeling, fingering, grasping, handling, hearing, lifting, mental acuity, reaching, repetitive motions, speaking, talking, visual acuity, and walking.
