SUMMARY
The Advancement Services Assistant provides seasonal administrative support to the Advancement Department through accurate processing of donor-related records, tribute acknowledgements, filing, mail preparation, and general clerical functions. This position helps ensure donor information is maintained accurately, and donor communications are prepared in a timely manner. Working no more than sixteen (16) hours per week, the Advancement Services Assistant supports the Advancement team during periods of increased activity while helping maintain excellent donor stewardship and operational efficiency.

EQUIPMENT:
Ability to operate standard office machines such as copier, computer, calculator, scanner, and other office equipment. Ability to work within Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams software programs.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general information and communicate effectively with colleagues, donors, volunteers, and the public.
CONTACT WITH OTHERS:
Regular contact with Advancement staff, volunteers, donors, and individuals from other departments. Must represent Baptist Children''s Homes of NC, Inc. in a positive and professional manner.
MENTAL / VISUAL / AUDITORY DEMAND:
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, maintain attention to detail, and communicate effectively in person and by telephone.
CONFIDENTIAL DATA:
Complies with agency policies and procedures concerning confidentiality, including donor records and personnel information, which if disclosed could have adverse internal and external effects.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands and fingers, and occasionally lift and carry up to 15 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
