Position Overview

A family in Cresskill, New Jersey is seeking an experienced, energetic part-time nanny to care for three boys, ages 5, 7, and 11, Monday through Friday afternoons. The children attend school full time, and the nanny's day begins with a short walk to pick them up at the nearby school.

Afternoons are active and child-focused. The ideal candidate enjoys getting outdoors, keeping three busy boys engaged, and moving smoothly between the park, scheduled activities, homework, and a simple family dinner. Responsibilities

• Walking to the nearby school for afternoon pickup
• Supervising and engaging three boys, ages 5, 7, and 11, throughout the afternoon
• Taking the children to the park and keeping them active outdoors
• Driving the children to scheduled activities around town
• Providing homework help and academic support
• Preparing simple, kid-friendly dinners
• Assisting with baths as needed
• Tidying the playroom and putting toys away at the end of the day
• Maintaining a calm, patient presence and helping the boys navigate sibling dynamics

Requirements

• Demonstrated professional childcare experience with multiple children, including school-age boys
• Patient, calm, and steady under pressure
• Comfortable with active, outdoor afternoons
• Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle
• Ability to commit to a long-term position
• Must be able to provide 3–5 professional references
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred
