**Job Title: Part time and PRN X-Ray Technician**
**Job Description:**
The Spine Institute in Murray, UT is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented PRN X-Ray Technician to join our dynamic medical team on a prn basis as well as 1 full day per week. In this role, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures in a fast-paced environment. You will work up to 1-2 days per week and as needed to cover for vacations, providing flexibility and the opportunity to work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver top-quality patient care.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Perform high-quality X-ray examinations for patients in accordance with established protocols and safety regulations.
- Ensure accurate patient positioning and application of appropriate exposure techniques to obtain optimal imaging results.
- Prepare and maintain X-ray equipment, ensuring it is calibrated and functioning properly.
- Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures and alleviate any concerns, ensuring a comfortable experience.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, adhering to privacy and confidentiality standards.
- Follow all safety guidelines to protect patients, team members, and oneself from unnecessary radiation exposure.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in radiology techniques and technology through continuous education and training.
**Qualifications:**
- Valid certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or equivalent state certification.
- Proven experience as an X-Ray Technician, preferably in a clinical or hospital setting.
- Strong understanding of radiographic principles, techniques, and safety protocols.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work on an as-needed basis.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
