Job Description

The Administrative Assistant provides essential clerical and administrative support to ensure efficient daily operations. This role serves as a key point of contact for the public and staff, delivering excellent customer service while managing records, coordinating meetings, and supporting departmental functions.

Schedule: Monday - Thursday from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM & Friday 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM

Salary: $18.03 - $19.91 per hour, depending on experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide property information and respond to public inquiries
  • Perform data entry, filing, and records management
  • Process property tax credit applications
  • Prepare agendas, meeting materials, and take minutes
  • Assist with correspondence, reports, and spreadsheets
  • Support boards, committees, and department staff
  • Maintain accurate, confidential files and databases

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of six (6) months of clerical, administrative, or related experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Valid Driver's License
