Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree required and must have currently valid Strength and Conditioning Certification.
  • Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Comprehensive computer skills including Microsoft products, specifically excel.
  • Proficient in teaching Olympic movements with basic knowledge of progressive speed, change of direction and conditioning modalities.

Job Duties and Other Information

  • Designs and implements Strength & Conditioning programs for sports assigned by Director of Strength and Conditioning.
  • Ensure athletes are training with proper technique with all modalities used in the weight room, on court, or on field.
  • Communicates effectively between sport coaches, strength and conditioning staff members, and sports medicine staff.
  • Provides modifications in conjunction with the Director of Strength and Conditioning and assigned sports medicine staff for injuries and return to play protocols.
  • Provides daily records and data collection to drive athletic performance and progress of student athletes. Assist Director of Strength and Conditioning with daily upkeep of the weight room.
  • Occasional travel with sports teams.
  • Administrative duties as assigned by the Director of Strength and Conditioning.
