Description

Duties and Responsiblities

• Schedules and coordinates various leagues and other activities
• Coordinates the efforts of the athletic division with the other divisions within the Parks and Recreation Department to ensure that goals are achieved
• Manages equipment
• Supervises facilities
• Provides excellent customer service to patrons
• Prepares reports as needed
• Works nights, weekends and holidays
• Contributes to a positive work environment

Requirements

Education and/or Experience: Any combination of education or experience equivalent to a high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required. An associate degree in Parks and Recreation, Health and Physical Education, Sports Management, or a related field is preferred with some related experience, including supervision of personnel and game officiating.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Possession of a valid and appropriate driver's license. Possession of or ability to possess First Aid, CPR and AED certification within six months of employment.
