POSITION OVERVIEW
Collegiate Charter School of Lowell is seeking a college or graduate-level Athletic Training student or a Certified Athletic Trainer ATC to provide on-site athletic trainer coverage at athletic contests. This is a paid internship or per-game position designed to support student-athlete safety while offering meaningful clinical experience in a high school athletic setting.
This role has the potential to grow into a more consistent or full-time position as the school expands its athletic health services in alignment with evolving MIAA expectations.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
&bull Provide athletic trainer coverage at home athletic events initially winter basketball spring sports opportunities available
&bull Conduct basic injury evaluation and first aid during games
&bull Manage acute injury care ice compression referral recommendations
&bull Communicate with coaches regarding injury status and return-to-play guidance
&bull Serve as the on-site point of contact for athletic health and safety during contests
&bull Maintain a professional student-centered environment
Note This position focuses on event coverage and injury management not strength & conditioning at this time.

QUALIFICATIONS
&bull Graduate student in Athletic Training MAT Physical Therapy DPT with ATC or related field preferred
&bull Certified Athletic Trainer ATC encouraged to apply
&bull Eligible for Massachusetts licensure or appropriate supervised practice
&bull CPRAED & First Aid certification required
&bull Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
&bull Interest in secondary school athletics and professional development

COMPENSATION
&bull Paid per game 75-120 or seasonal stipend flexible based on experience
&bull Internship credit supported if required by academic program

&bull Immediate need for winter basketball games
&bull Opportunity to continue through the spring athletic season
&bull Game schedules provided in advance
