Individuals will be hired as needed.Note: Submitted applications will remain on file for 12 months.The part-time support staff position assists in the Athletic Department of the College and the duties of each position may vary based upon the area of assignment. This position may work with college administrators, faculty, staff, and students to provide assistance in various aspects of the College's offices, departments, and divisions. 1. Part Time Ongoing positions are posted to create an applicant pool for possible openings. Therefore, an employment opportunity may not be available. 2. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Primary Responsibilities1. Serve Game Day Administrator - (Home Events Only)Serve as the designated Game Day Administrator for all home events across assigned sports.Follow ACCC Game Day Administrator duties and responsibilities. Be present no later than 60 minutes before game time and stay through postgame responsibilities.Monitor event operations, crowd behavior, and facility management in support of the athletic director and head coach.Serve as point-of-contact for officials, visiting teams, and event personnel.2. Media and Content CreationTake quality action photos throughout each home game for use on social media and internal publications. (Does PR have an extra camera that athletics could use for this?)Upload and organize photos in a timely manner after each event for staff access. (I think we should have a folder that athletics and PR can access for these photos)3. Postgame CommunicationWrite and post a short, timely press release or recap to be used on social media and website. Include score, key stats, and notable player performances.Coordinate with coaches for quick postgame quotes or highlights when needed.4. Promotional ContentCreate and post promotional content for upcoming games across assigned sports.Highlight athletes through player features, quotes, or academic/athletic achievements.Help manage and maintain consistent branding and tone across platforms.5. Score Table Assistance (as needed)Be prepared to assist at the score table with roles such as:ScorebookClock/scoreboard operationShot clock (basketball)Spotting/stat entry supportCross-train with other staff for flexibility in coverage.General ExpectationsBe dependable, punctual, and professional in all responsibilities.Dress appropriately for the sport and weather conditions.Communicate any schedule conflicts well in advance.Be responsive to direction from the Athletic Director.Maintain a positive, athlete-focused tone in all content.Protect the image of the college and its teams at all times.
