Part-Time Automotive Sales Assistant
Eau Claire Ford Lincoln is looking for an outgoing, dependable Part-Time Automotive Sales Assistant to support our sales team and help create an excellent experience for every guest. This is a great opportunity for a college student or someone interested in gaining hands-on experience in sales, customer service, and the automotive industry. In addition, you'll learn the ever-changing technology that is driving the automotive industry of today.
Responsibilities
- Welcome customers and help connect them with the appropriate sales consultant
- Demonstrate vehicle technology for new customer delivery
- Assist sales consultants with customer questions and vehicle inquiries
- Learn our Ford, Lincoln, and pre-owned vehicle lineup
- Help conduct vehicle demonstrations and walkarounds
- Accompany or assist with test drives, when authorized
- Help prepare vehicles for customer appointments and deliveries
- Assist with locating vehicles and keeping the sales lot organized
- Follow up with customers by phone, text, or email as assigned
- Support the sales team with day-to-day dealership activities
- Learn the dealership’s sales process, technology, and customer-service standards
Qualifications
- Friendly, confident, and comfortable interacting with customers
- Dependable, organized, and willing to learn
- Strong communication and customer-service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer and technology skills
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Automotive or sales experience is helpful but not required
