We are seeking a reliable and compassionate part-time babysitter for our 5-year-old daughter, Harper, in Chicago, IL. The initial job is for Tuesday, June 16, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 11:00 PM. This is a recurring position for Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with the potential for after-school care from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM during the school year.
Harper has type 1 diabetes, requires blood glucose monitoring, and needs insulin for meals. We need someone experienced or willing to learn diabetic management, as Harper was diagnosed recently. She is a sweet, active child who enjoys learning and playing, despite being a little shy initially.
No driving, feeding, bathing, or bedtime preparation is required. There are no pets in the home. We are looking for someone who can provide excellent care and ensure Harper's safety and well-being while creating a fun and engaging environment.
