Jupiter is looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Bakery Prep Cook to join our back-of-house team.

We are a big-hearted, hospitality-oriented restaurant in the heart of downtown Winthrop. We are looking for a bakery crew member to join our team through late-September/mid-October (and beyond, if it's a good fit for all). Upbeat attitude, quick to learn, and able to handle a busy environment. Our team is small but mighty and we pride ourselves on our food and service. If you're passionate about baking and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to have you on our team.

Our style has been described as "elevated counter service" we take orders but deliver food and bus for guests when possible. Our bakery shift runs 6:30 AM 2 PM, supporting morning service with fresh-baked goods, pastries, and prepared items that set the tone for the whole day.

About the Role:

  • Execute baked goods and bakery prep accurately and on time, maintaining high standards with every item
  • Follow and manage daily prep lists to keep production on schedule
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked station
  • Monitor par levels and communicate immediately when supplies are running low or issues arise
  • Support the dishwashing team and assist other BOH staff when primary duties are completed

What We're Looking For:

  • Bakery or kitchen experience preferred
  • Comfort working early morning shifts in a production-focused environment
  • Strong attention to detail and food safety practices
  • Team player with a positive attitude
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure

Compensation:

  • Hourly rate including tips averages $28 $38 all-in, depending on experience. Tips are pooled and distributed across the team based on role, seniority, and good standing.

Requirements:

  • Experience in food service or a bakery setting
  • Valid WA Food Handler's Permit required
  • 18+ hours/week
