At 33 Elmwood, we host premium private events, from elegant weddings and corporate galas to intimate celebrations. We pride ourselves on delivering unforgettable experiences, seamless service, and most of all a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. We are looking for energetic, detail-oriented Banquet Servers to join our hospitality team and help us bring these special events to life.
As a Banquet Server, you will be the face of our hospitality team during private events. This is a highly flexible, part-time role perfect for anyone looking to supplement their income, students, or hospitality professionals looking for rewarding event-based work. Your shifts will typically range from 4 to 6 hours, depending on your availability and the timeline of the event.
Event Setup & Breakdown: Assist with setting up dining tables (linens, silverware, glassware, and centerpieces) and breaking down the event space afterward.
Guest Service: Welcome guests with a warm, professional demeanor and attend to their needs throughout the event.
Food & Beverage Delivery: Serve meals, passed hors d'oeuvres, or manage banquet stations efficiently and gracefully.
Clearance: Clear tables of used dishes, glassware, and utensils between courses, maintaining a clean and elegant dining environment.
Teamwork: Collaborate closely with the kitchen staff, bartenders, and event coordinators to ensure the event runs seamlessly on schedule.
Previous experience in catering, banquet service, or fine dining is preferred but not required (we are willing to train the right attitude!).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a commitment to high-end customer service.
Ability to stand, walk, and carry heavy trays (up to 30 lbs) for the duration of a 4-to-6-hour shift.
A professional, well-groomed appearance adhering to our venue's dress code (usually black slacks, black non-slip shoes, and a provided uniform shirt).
Reliable transportation to and from the venue.
