Job Description Job Description Part-time role supporting daily accounting operations, recordkeeping, and month-end close activities for an Omaha based Technology Organization. Ensures accurate and timely financial data across AP/AR and general ledger functions.
Key Responsibilities
Record and code financial transactions (AP, AR, deposits, journal entries)
Maintain organized accounting records and documentation
Process vendor invoices and schedule payments
Create customer invoices and monitor receivables
Follow up on past due accounts and resolve billing issues
Assist with reconciliations and month-end close
Support accounting projects and process improvements
Requirements
Basic accounting knowledge
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently
Preferred
2+ years bookkeeping/accounting experience
Experience with Microsoft Business Central or ERP systems
