This role is ideal for a detail‑oriented professional with strong QuickBooks Online expertise and advanced Excel skills who can confidently handle a variety of accounting functions while maintaining accuracy and organization.Job DescriptionOur client is seeking an accounting professional to support the financial operations of multiple organizations. The successful candidate will oversee day‑to‑day bookkeeping activities, maintain accurate financial records, assist with reporting, and support cash management efforts. This position requires someone who can effectively manage competing priorities while ensuring financial data remains accurate and up to date.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain accounting records and process financial transactions across multiple entities while ensuring data accuracy and consistency.Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoice processing, payment application, and account maintenance.Generate customer invoices and monitor outstanding balances to support timely collections efforts.Review aging reports and communicate professionally with customers regarding past‑due accounts.Reconcile financial activity and ensure general ledger information is current and accurately recorded.Monitor daily banking activity and cash balances to provide visibility into available funds and financial position.Assist with month‑end and periodic accounting activities, including account reviews and reporting support.Prepare financial reports, spreadsheets, and ad‑hoc analyses for leadership and operational teams.Utilize QuickBooks Online to manage multiple company files while maintaining proper accounting controls.Leverage advanced Excel functions to analyze data, reconcile information, and create meaningful financial reporting.Support special accounting projects and process improvement initiatives as assigned.Maintain organized financial documentation and ensure compliance with internal procedures.QualificationsMinimum of 2 years of bookkeeping, accounting, or related financial experience.Hands‑on experience managing accounting functions for multiple entities preferred.Advanced proficiency with QuickBooks Online, including experience navigating multiple company profiles.Strong Excel skills with experience using functions such as VLOOKUP, IF statements, SUMIF/SUMIFS, COUNTIFS, Pivot Tables, and multi‑sheet reporting.Ability to work independently, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining accurate financial records.Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.Experience supporting non‑profit organizations is a plus but not required.Additional DetailsThis role is well‑suited for an accounting professional who enjoys balancing multiple priorities, working with financial data, and contributing to the overall success of several organizations.
