Job Description
The Martin Marietta Center for the Performing Arts Center invites qualified candidates to apply for the part-time position of Box Office Representative. We strive to create enjoyable, memorable experiences for our guests. The Box Office Representative plays a critical role in achieving this goal and creating a positive impression of our venue.
The Box Office Representative's primary duty is selling tickets for events at the Martin Marietta Center for the Performing Arts. This involves heavy customer interaction and handling cash transactions. Selected candidates must be comfortable, proficient and trustworthy with counting cash and giving change back to customers. This position also hands out pre-purchased (will call) tickets to patrons. Attention to detail and accuracy in performing tasks is a must.
Work Schedule
This position requires weeknight and weekend shift work.

Typical Qualifications
Education and Experience
High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalency; 1 to 3 years experience in customer service, call center, face-to-face customer service, or related field
OR
Any equivalent combination of training and/or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities may be substituted

Work Environment and Physical Effort:
Light: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. Light work may include walking or standing to a significant degree and/or sitting a majority of the time while pushing or pulling arm or leg controls.
Work Environment:
Employees will frequently work in an office or similar indoor environment.
