Building Maintenance Worker

Position Description

The purpose of this position is to maintain the appearance and safety of City facilities. This is accomplished by sanitizing restrooms, collecting and removing trash and recyclable materials and maintaining the interior and exterior of facilities. Other duties include maintaining the Recreation Centre various floors through daily, weekly and monthly required maintenance. Assist keeping inventory and ordering janitorial supplies. Perform routine repairs as necessary. This position does not provide direction to other employees.

What We're Looking For

• One year experience in janitorial work, building maintenance, or related field.

Varied Hours: Can include day or evening shifts as well as weekends and events.
