The Nevada County Transit division is looking for a part-time safety conscious individual who is excited to provide vital transportation services to our county residents! The candidate will typically be scheduled to cover driving shifts between Tuesday-Friday of each week and will be expected to work a full 8-hour shift on Saturdays dedicated to sanitation of the fleet. The Bus Driver position operates a transit bus over a designated route in accordance with arranged time schedules, collects fares, picks up and discharges passengers at pre-arranged locations; monitors passenger behavior and maintains safe and orderly conditions aboard the vehicle, provides information regarding fixed route and paratransit service to patrons and the general public.
