Part Time Business Teacher

University High School of Indiana seeks a dynamic educator to teach business classes beginning with the 2026-2027 school year. Course loads could include accounting, personal finance, and AP Business with Personal Finance. Ideal candidates will have a passion for high school business education, emphasizing strong interpersonal relationships with students and colleagues, a collaborative mindset, and a willingness to engage beyond the classroom such as leading our robust DECA club.

Faculty members at University High School are responsible for all tasks related to instruction, including planning, implementing, and assessing a curriculum that fits the school's mission to expand the hearts and minds of its students through academic, creative, and physical achievement. Teachers also support the educational system of the school as a whole.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's of Science in Business, Business Education, or a related field required
• Ability to teach all levels of high school business, from accounting to personal finance and AP Business with Personal Finance required; teaching experience preferred
• Commitment to the school's core values of diversity, excellence, personal responsibility, stewardship, creativity, and mutual respect, support, and trust required
• Interest in collaborating with colleagues on curriculum, assessment, and professional development required
• Facility with technology required
• Background check and current authorization to be employed in the U.S. required
