We are seeking skilled, detail-oriented Freelance / Independent Contractor / Part-Time Carpenters to join our team for an upcoming series of high-profile trade show and exhibition projects running through August, September, and potentially October 2026.
This is a workshop-based fabrication role. In this role, you will be responsible for high-quality woodwork fabrication and the structural construction of custom exhibition stands and display booths. We are looking for experienced professionals who understand the fast-paced nature of the trade show industry, where precision, structural safety, and flawless finishes are critical.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Proven experience in finish carpentry, cabinetry, or exhibition/set construction. Direct experience building for trade shows is highly preferred.
Deep technical knowledge of woodworking techniques, joinery, and material characteristics (mostly use plywood and MDF).
Proficiency with standard workshop machinery and hand tools (table saws, routers, miter saws, pneumatic nailer gun, etc.).
Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines while maintaining a high standard of craftsmanship.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a crew.
Must have flexibility to work varied hours based on project build schedules across the August–October timeline.
Possession of standard personal carpentry hand tools is a plus.
