Part-Time CDL Bus Driver

Hourly Rate: $45/hour.

Camp Wieuca's (Wieuca Road Baptist Church) purpose is to provide children with an engaging and nurturing Christian environment. We strive to show our campers a Christ-like example through growing relationships and fun, meaningful experiences. 

We are currently hiring a CDL Bus Driver (Class B) to transport our children from school to our facilities in Atlanta, GA.  This position will report to the Camp Director and will need to be available on weekday afternoons for 2 hours. 

Main Responsibilities:

• Transport children safely from the schools to our facility.
• Ensure safety of students while boarding, exiting, and riding the bus.
• Maintain a safe work environment during each trip to and from the schools. 
• Inspect vehicle (we will provide a bus) and have the ability to diagnose malfunction or to determine road worthiness.
• Communicate appropriately with students, parents, and personnel, if necessary.

What Skills and Experience You Should Have:

• Must have a valid Class B CDL driver's license. 
• Must have a clean driving record for the last 3 years.
• 3+ years of CDL driving, bus driving preferred.
• Must be able to pass an extensive background check. 
• Must be able to pass a drug test in the event of a random test.
