About the Role:
Soccer Shots- East Texas is looking for an energetic and passionate Part Time Children's Soccer Coach to join our team in Texarkana, TX! This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact in young players' lives by combining a love of soccer with a passion for working with kids. Responsibilities:
- Lead fun, age-appropriate soccer coaching sessions for young children in a safe and encouraging environment
- Teach fundamental soccer skills including dribbling, passing, and basic game concepts
- Engage and motivate children through positive reinforcement and interactive drills
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding player progress and session updates
- Set up and break down equipment before and after each practice or game session
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants throughout each session
- Represent the Soccer Shots brand with professionalism and enthusiasm
Requirements:
- Experience working with young children in a coaching, teaching, or childcare setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of soccer fundamentals and youth athletic development
- Energetic, patient, and enthusiastic personality with a genuine love for working with kids
- Reliable transportation to travel to various program locations in the Texarkana, TX area
- Ability to work flexible part-time hours, including weekends
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
- Must pass a background check prior to employment
