Part-Time Cleaner and Custodial Substitute Opportunities

The Holy Hill Area School District is seeking dependable, detail-oriented individuals to support our custodial team at Friess Lake Elementary School and Richfield Middle School.

We are hiring for a regular part-time cleaner at Friess Lake Elementary School. Applicants must be available to work at least 4 hours per school day, with up to 5.5 hours available. The typical start time is 3:30 p.m., although an earlier start may be possible for employees working longer shifts.

Adult cleaners have the option to complete Friday cleaning duties on Saturday or Sunday when no weekend events are scheduled. Additional daytime summer work may also be available, if the applicant is interested in working year round. Depending on the number of hours available to work, the position may be eligible for WRS, the state pension system.

We are also looking for day shift custodial substitutes who are available to work occasionally when one of our custodians at either building are absent on a school day, even if the applicant is not interested in the every-school-night cleaning position.

The ideal candidate will be dependable, able to work independently, follow cleaning, safety and security procedures, communicate well with supervisors and coworkers, have reliable transportation and perform the physical duties associated with custodial work.

A hiring bonus may be available after 90 days of successful employment.
