Position Overview

The Part-Time Student Life Clerk provides support to Student Life and other areas of Student Services as needed.

What you will be doing

• Creates service agreements/contracts for Student Life events
• Creates work orders for media services and campus service to support student activities
• Issues student IDs and student decals
• Creates flyers/advertising for Student Life events
• Performs general office work, including filing, answering phones, providing front-end customer service to walk-in students and staff
• Provides staffing for student life events
• Answers phones, greets and assists students
• Performs other duties as assigned

What you need to succeed

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent from a regionally accredited institution and six (6) months of clerical experience
• All degrees must be from a regionally accredited institution
• Knowledge and understanding of College organization, goals and objectives, and policies and procedures
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Possess good interpersonal skills
• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to demonstrate self-motivational and organizational skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evening and weekend assignments
• Ability to work well in a multi-ethnic and multi-cultural environment with students, faculty and staff
