Part-time Cook Assistant

Intermediate District 287 is looking for a qualified candidate to fill a part-time Cook Assistant at South Education Center in Richfield, MN

The Cook''s Assistant is responsible for performing the full range of tasks involved in planning, preparing, cooking and serving student meals adhering to the USDA school food and nutrition guidelines.

Position Details:

Position Type: Part-time

Total Hours: 4 hours per day; 188 days per year

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday; 9:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. (flexible start/end times available)

Location: Richfield, MN

Salary & Benefits:

Pay Rate follows SEIU Local 284 Grade II: $22.40 - $23.65 per hour (depending on education and experience)

This is a part-time position not eligible for benefits

Requirements:

• Experience in work that could reasonably be expected to provide the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed in the linked job classification
• Physical Requirements: Incumbents in this class must have adequate physical strength, stamina, physical agility and visual and auditory acuity, and must maintain such physical fitness as to be able to perform the duties. Candidates must be free from communicable diseases.
